| 2. Named after a legendary sea monster, Kraken is a massive, mythological
underwater beast that’s unleashed from the depths of the sea to take
SeaWorld guests on the ride of their lives – lifting them higher, dropping
them longer and spiraling them faster than any other coaster in Orlando. Remember the monster under your bed? Well, it
grew up! Kraken, the monster of all roller coasters, is the tallest,
fastest, longest and only floorless roller coaster in Orlando. It will take
you to the heights of a 15-story building and turn you upside down seven
times, all at speeds reaching 65 mph!

best parts of water rides and roller coasters, and adding out-of-this-world
special effects have created the most unbelievable ride imaginable.

chased by spirits who want to keep Atlantis – and you – for their own!

| 5. Experience all the excitement, beauty and charm of Key West at SeaWorld! This tropical paradise is set on five lush acres and is filled with a variety of animals, wild entertainers, live bands and a nightly Sunset Celebration. Key West at SeaWorld features a tropical lagoon with rolling waves, a sandy beach, an underwater viewing area and a naturalistic coral reef.
You can touch and feed dolphins and stingrays, and take an up-close look at endangered sea turtles. |
 |
| 6. Travel through the world's
largest, underwater acrylic tunnel and find yourself just inches away
from dangerous predators in Terrors of the Deep. Slithery eels,
frightening barracuda, venomous fish, and toothy sharks make their home
in this coral reef habitat. |

7. Visit Manatees: The Last Generation? and immerse yourself in the underwater world of the Florida manatee. Manatees who live in this habitat were rescued by SeaWorld. Often, Manatees: The Last Generation? becomes a manatee halfway house, where the gentle animals receive care before their release to Florida waters.
From above the water and below, you can explore the lush lagoon inhabited by these 1000-pounds-plus social sea cows. Then you can discover how this endangered species hears, sees and feels, and learn ways to help save these gentle, soulful giants from truly being the last generation. |
 |
| 8. Board a “jet helicopter” for an unforgettable motion-based flight to a remote research station called Base Station Wild Arctic. You'll then enter the frozen wonderland of the Arctic and come face-to-face with real walruses, beluga whales, and two famous polar bears named Klondike and Snow! |
 |
9. Journey through Sea World's "slice" of the Antarctic and watch more than 200 polar penguins and three species of flighted birds as they jump, slide and dive in the Penguin Encounter.
A 120-foot-long moving walkway will transport you through the frozen wonderland so you can watch the playful birds cavort both above, and under, the water. |
 |
10. Shamu’s Happy Harbor is an unbelievably fun,
just-for-kids paradise filled with giant pink flamingos and palm
trees. Little ones can conquer four stories of nets, shoot through
tunnels, cool down in a splashy water maze, and slip down nine
slippery slides!

Sea World parks also feature a variety of thrill rides, including roller
coasters like Kraken at Sea World Orlando. Journey to Atlantis, a combination
roller coaster and splashdown ride, can be found at both SeaWorld Orlando and
SeaWorld San Diego. The parks are owned by Busch Entertainment Corp., the family
entertainment division of Anheuser-Busch, which is best known for brewing beer
but also owns nine theme parks. In July 2005, SeaWorld Orlando announced plans
to add a water park to its complex, which already includes SeaWorld and
Discovery Cove; the water park is expected to
combine water thrill rides with marine life, with attractions such as clear
acrylic tube slides through pools containing Commerson's dolphins. |
