Disney Quest venture put together by
those Disney wizards. Now, a lot of people make the mistake
of thinking this is just an arcade. It's not. As a matter
of fact, it seems as though Disney has gone through great
pains to make it a virtual theme park, not an arcade. First,
the price and type of entertainment almost guarantees that
you will not be fighting hoards of 12 year olds in Disney
Quest buildings. Second, this has the full attention of
Disney's Imagineers, so you know it is AWESOME!
the building is a large 5 story, 100,000 square foot structure
(making it twice the size of the World of Disney Store).
Your adventure beings, of all places, in an elevator. At
first glance the elevator seems like any other...until the
door closes. the lights flicker and the right hand wall
of the elevator reveals the Genie from Aladdin, in a very
cool, but bizarre 3D intro to Disney Quest. It's a great
elevator ride!!!
