superstars Gloria and Emilio Estefan introduce BONGOS CUBAN CAFÉ a unique blend
of authentic Cuban cuisine and la cultura of Old Havana, presented in a setting
that unites the tropical deco architectural design with the sizzle of South
Beach glamour. This Bongos Cuban Cafe is part of the chain created by
the Estefans.
This 550-seat family dining
and entertainment experience debuted in late 1997 at
Downtown Disney West Side at the
Walt Disney World Resort. With a 16,000-square-foot space, two floors of indoor and out-door dining areas,
and three separate bars, BONGOS CUBAN CAFE is designed to stimulate the visual
and aural senses of its patrons as well as their palates.
The building's triangular architectural design, by the renowned Bernardo Fort Brescia of Arquitectonica is dominated outside by a massive two-story
pineapple-shaped structure that dominates the lakeside skyline of Downtown
Disney.
