Bongos Cuban Café 550-seat family dining and entertainment experience debuted in late 1997 atDowntown Disney West Side at theWalt Disney World Resort. With a 16,000-square-foot space, two floors of indoor and out-door dining areas, and three separate bars, BONGOS CUBAN CAFE is designed to stimulate the visual and aural senses of its patrons as well as their palates.
The building's triangular architectural design, by the renowned Bernardo Fort Brescia of Arquitectonica is dominated outside by a massive two-story pineapple-shaped structure that dominates the lakeside skyline of Downtown Disney.

Fun atmosphere, beautiful interior artwork, and a gigantic pineapple make Bongos a unique dining experience. Food is served in a traditional and authentic manner. Beer and alcohol are relatively inexpensive. The sandwiches from the express counter service are good, especially if you enjoy Cuban sandwiches. Since this restaurant is not on the Dining Plan, it’s more likely a table will be available.
Bongos is on the Disney Dining Plan, which means many visitors will eat there. Bongos is an interesting restaurant to say the least I highly reccomend a meal there if you love traditional Cuban food. Bongos food and service makes it a mainstay of Downtown Disney. Bongos Cuban Cafe express counter service sandwiches are good. Splashes of vibrant color decking the walls and bongo drum shaped bar at Bongos. You'll catch a glimpse of creative concoctions beautifully presented on large white platters during your dining experience, and you can find a cozy seat inside the small coves surrounding the bar area. Bongos menu offers a range of spicy entrees, a complete sangria list, frozen desserts, and even a specialty kids menu.
